What compensation am I entitled to in the event of a delay with TUI fly?
What do we do for you in case of a delay?
Short flights of up to 1500 km
In case of a delay of 2 hours or more, we offer:
- Refreshments
- Meals
Longer flights of more than 1500 km
In case of a delay of 3 hours or more, we offer:
- Refreshments
- Meals
In case of an overnight delay
We arrange:
- Accommodations
- Transport between the airport and the accommodations
Sometimes we don’t offer everything so you can continue your trip sooner. Your rights are described in European Regulation 261/2004.
This regulation includes the European rules for passengers.
Delay on the outbound flight
In the event of a delay of 8 hours or more, you will receive a delay statement. You can use this document for your travel insurance. Check your insurance policy to see whether you are entitled to a compensation for lost holidays.
Delay on the return flight
We will keep you informed. We may take you to the airport later than originally planned. You will receive a delay statement for your employer. Note: most travel insurance policies do not cover delays on return flights.
